How Vitamin A Can Help You Turn Back the Clock

Vitamin A is a superfood for the skin. In skincare, it is one of those magical potions that has the ability to erase the years, leaving a fresh-faced glow in its place.

Vitamin A, in the form of tretinoin, is a prescription-only medication that is FDA approved for wrinkle busting and acne erasing, but it can also make skin very sensitive, meaning it isn’t suitable for everyone. The vitamin A in our lotion is perfect for all skin types and one of the best ways to introduce your skin to the benefits of retinol.

How Does Retinol Help?

Retinol is a powerful ingredient that helps increase cell turnover. As we age, turnover takes longer, and dead skin can stay put for longer. Vitamin A helps increase this turnover so that it exfoliates the skin and dead skin cells are removed. This has the benefit of leaving a glow, but also slowly erasing fine lines and softening wrinkles too.

Regular use of vitamin A can help fade sunspots and pigmentation, clear skin of acne and help with scarring, and leaves the skin brighter, clearer, and with a more even skin tone. Pore size will be visibly reduced too.

Vitamin A has an exfoliation effect on the skin, so should only be used at night. You must also use a high factor SPF while in the sun to protect your new baby skin from harm. So, remember to slip, slop, slap at all times.

As with all our products, CANGRO's Vitamin A serum is cruelty-free and vegan. It is free from all nasties and is Australian-owned and made. We are sure you will be as impressed as we are!
